The story
Claudia is Italian, Henri is French. They asked for an elopement with only the two families present, and 'the colour of a lemon.' Ravello was the only answer.
The morning began in the lemon groves below Villa Cimbrone, where the bride walked a dirt path with her father at dawn. The ceremony — twenty-two people in total — was held in a stone chapel built into the cliff, with the Mediterranean four hundred metres below.
Lunch was served on the Terrazza dell'Infinito at one o'clock — seven courses by a Michelin-trained chef, lemon granita between each. They danced their first dance, just the two of them, at the edge of the terrace as the sun set into the sea.
